Our 2007 Outreach project reached its zenith in November when Terry presented the many quilts we made over the year to the 2007 recipient organizations.
Mt Tam Quilt Guild 2007 Challenge
While the fabric packets for this challenge are sold out, participating members may need a refresher of the rules...
Rev up your sewing machines and get ready for the third annual Mt. Tam Quilt Guild Challenge. Once again the rules are simple:
1. The two challenge fabrics must be used (and visible on the front of your quilt).
2. You may add as many other fabrics as you wish.
3. The finished quilt can be no larger than 50" x 50" and no smaller than
18"x18".
4. Quilts should be finished to display at the annual Holiday Party,
December 11.
5. At the Holiday Party the members will choose a "Viewers’ Choice" quilt.
6. The winner of the "Viewer's Choice" will be invited to coordinate the 2008
challenge. What could be more fun than picking out fabric, writing up a
few rules and putting on a mini quilt show for your guild's pleasure?
FYI — the fabrics are Gradation Ombre, sapphire/sea foam, by Caryl Bryer Fallert and Prismatic Radial Spots, purple/black, by "The New Chicks on The Block." See below.
